History

Solar thermal systems have been in widespread use across, Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America for over 40 years and continue to be systems of choice for domestic hot water usage.

Investment

Solar thermal systems are 10 to 15 times cheaper than Photovoltaic systems and recover the cost of investment within 4 to 8 years rather than a PV investment recovery period of 30-50 years. Federal tax credits are currently being offered at 30% of the entire system’s cost, with additional incentives being offered by state and municipal organizations.

Installation

Be Solar Energy systems can be installed in only one or two days, and requires a fraction of roof space PV systems require to generate a similar amount of energy. Our thermal systems also remain operational in weather conditions that would otherwise render PV systems idle.

Energy Output

Be Solar Energy systems in residential applications offset roughly 30% of a home’s energy usage and provide between 75 and 100% of a home’s domestic hot water need throughout the year.
